Date: August 16, 2025
Pray about where God can use YOU. This is a day we have set aside to serve our community. There is a place for everyone in our church to serve on August 16th. Don't miss the blessing God has for you!
Sign-up sheets are on the board by the choir room. Below is a list of the various ways you can help on that day.
FREE FOR ALL: We need lots of donations of all kinds. Take collections to our donation room at the Annex. We'll take anything you would put in a yard sale. Cathy, Denise and Belinda are helping out here, so if you have a question about something, ask away!
CARDS: Kathryn West will again be heading this up for us. She needs either thinking of you or blank cards and stamps. Or just money to help purchase these things. And then she needs names: those that need encouragement; those in the military; our shut-ins; those that are sick; those that are struggling; maybe a card to show we care would make a difference in their lives, or perhaps someone just needs some happy mail! Sometimes a card can mean a lot!
COOKIE DELIVERIES: Marlena and our youth will be going out to our first responders with treats to show our appreciation for all they do. Let's start thinking what kinds of cookies we would like to share.
WOOD DELIVERIES: Our guys have been working on the wood (when it was cooler). Greg is going to be coordinating the deliveries this year. We need trucks and drivers.
NURSING HOME VISITS: Isabel Lovitt will be leading us in our visits to Skyline Nursing and Rehabilitation Manor. Last year we took little snacks bags. Everyone loves snacks! If you're looking for a blessing, this is the project for you. Shut-ins always like visits, especially if they bring snacks!
SMALL PROJECT: Steve has found us a small construction project to help someone out. If your talents lay toward outdoor work, please join in here. Many hands make light work! See Steve for more information.
FOOD PREPARATION: We have to keep our strength up! Janice Shortt is going to make sure we are fed. She's going to need some help doing this.
Matt.25:40 - “As you did it to one of the least of these my brethren you did it to me.”
